What type of tech donations do you accept?
We are currently accepting Chromebooks and Laptops with Intel i5 and above or equivalent, or MacBook 2010 or later that can be refurbished for student use. Hard drives and RAM, LCD monitors (please no CRTs), cables and peripherals, keyboards, and mice.
**We are unable to accept miscellaneous e-waste or electronics at this time, including printers.**
What happens to the data on my computer, do I need to erase everything before I donate?
We take your privacy seriously and securely erase hard drives.
Are you open during COVID-19 Closures?
Yes, our Tech Hub is open for donation drop-offs and minor tech repairs. We are following all safety protocols. All visitors are required to wear a mask.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes, if you itemize deductions on your federal tax return, you may be entitled to claim a charitable deduction of the fair market value for your tech donations. Receipts available.
I don't have any tech to donate, what are other ways I can support Tech Exchange?
