We’re excited to invite you to a Serve2STEM Intern Showcase where we’re shining a light on the amazing interns helping close the digital divide - and the community that lifts them up.

Whether you're a current or future intern, a proud parent, a supportive friend, a local partner, or someone who just loves seeing youth thrive - we’d love to have you with us for a behind-the-scenes-look at the program.

About Serve2STEM

At Tech Exchange, we believe in the power of opportunity and empowering the youth - that is why we started the Serve2STEM Program. Through the Serve2STEM Program, we are opening doors to career readiness for our motivated young people right here in our own communities. 

Serve2STEM isn’t just a paid internship. It’s a launchpad for young people from underrepresented communities, offering real-world experience, skill-building, and career pathways in the tech world. Through hands-on work and one-on-one mentorship, our interns gain the tools and confidence they need to step into brighter futures.

Interns in the program work side-by-side with our staff at our Oakland warehouse, the Oakland TecHub, and out in the community across the Bay Area. Whether refurbishing computers, supporting digital literacy workshops, or distributing essential tech equipment to local families, interns are learning valuable technical and professional skills all while giving back to the very communities they come from.

From earning a professional certification to building a network of mentors and peers, Serve2STEM sets young people on the path toward gainful employment and higher education.
