Tech Exchange is partnering with UC Berkeley’s HBSA to host a free computer giveaway for college-bound and currently enrolled students in the Bay Area. Applications open now til August 5th!

About the event

This giveaway is designed to support students who are either heading to college or currently enrolled and in need of a personal computer to succeed in their studies.

Whether you're navigating college applications or juggling coursework, we know how critical access to technology is and we’re here to help.

Who is eligible to apply?

Students in the Bay Area who are college-bound or currently enrolled in college
First-generation student
Demonstrated need for a computer
Commitment to academic success and community involvement

How to apply: Interested students can complete a brief application form to be considered. Recipients will be selected based on need, availability, and eligibility.

Deadline to apply: August 5th, 2025📍

Winners will be announced August 8th, 2025
