At Tech Exchange, we are committed to ensuring that all families have access to affordable technology, and recently, Telemundo visited our Oakland TecHub to spotlight our mission! Their coverage highlights how we are working to bridge the digital divide by providing low-cost computers, internet access, and digital literacy training to families in need.
During their visit, Telemundo interviewed our team and community members who have benefited from our programs. Many families in the Bay Area struggle to afford the technology necessary for school, work, and everyday life. Our goal is to change that by offering refurbished computers at a fraction of the cost, ensuring everyone has the tools to succeed in today’s digital world.
Through our efforts, we have distributed thousands of devices to students, seniors, and families across Oakland. Telemundo’s segment helped amplify the importance of digital equity and showcased the impact of our work. We are incredibly grateful for their visit and the opportunity to share our mission with a broader audience.
