On April 23rd, Tech Exchange had the opportunity to host a Device Donation Drive at SEMI Headquarters in Milpitas, and despite the weather's other plans, our mission stayed on course.
Despite a wet and gloomy day, our team showed up ready to collect devices and connect with supporters committed to bridging the digital divide. We were grateful to receive several device donations from community members who took the time to contribute, even in less-than-ideal conditions. Every laptop, desktop, and accessory donated brings us one step closer to ensuring that more families across the Bay Area have access to the technology they need to thrive.
Moments like these remind us that digital equity is a community effort. It’s not just about devices, it’s about opportunity. Access to a computer can mean access to education, employment, healthcare, and connection.
We’re incredibly thankful to SEMI and everyone who participated in making this drive possible. Even with the rain, the spirit of giving showed up strong.
