This April, Tech Exchange is proud to launch our Earth Month campaign with an ambitious goal: collecting 2,000 device donations by the end of the month.
As one of the fastest-growing waste streams in the world, electronic waste poses a significant environmental challenge. At the same time, thousands of families across the Bay Area lack access to the technology they need for education, employment, healthcare, and everyday life.
At Tech Exchange, we believe one solution can address both challenges.
Through our refurbishment and redistribution programs, donated devices are given a second life—keeping them out of landfills and placing them into the hands of individuals and families who need them most.
Each device we receive goes through a process of:
Secure data wiping
Refurbishment and repair
Redistribution to the community at low or no cost
To meet ongoing demand, Tech Exchange requires at least 1,000 devices each month. This Earth Month, we are doubling that goal to expand our impact and serve even more community members.
But we cannot do it alone.
We are calling on individuals, businesses, and community partners to take part in this effort. Whether you have one unused laptop at home or a bulk donation from your organization, your contribution can make a meaningful difference.
How You Can Help:
Donate your used laptops, desktops, and tablets
Organize a device drive at your workplace
Support our mission with a financial contribution
Share this campaign with your network
Together, we can reduce e-waste, expand digital access, and build a more sustainable and equitable future.
Donate your devices today and help us reach our goal of 2,000 donations this Earth Month.
