Celebrating the Next Generation: Serve2STEM Future Leaders Celebration Recap

On Thursday, June 25, 2026, Tech Exchange proudly hosted the Serve2STEM Future Leaders Celebration at our Oakland warehouse—an inspiring evening dedicated to recognizing the achievements of our interns and the power of community, collaboration, and opportunity.

The event brought together a vibrant mix of community leaders, workforce partners, educators, and supporters, all united by a shared commitment to advancing digital equity and creating pathways for the next generation of technology leaders. The energy in the room was undeniable—filled with meaningful conversations, new connections, and a collective sense of purpose.

At the heart of the celebration were our Serve2STEM interns—nearly 50 young adults who have spent the past year building technical skills, gaining hands-on experience, and making a real impact in their communities. Through their work in technology refurbishment, digital literacy, and community engagement, these future leaders are actively helping bridge the digital divide across the Bay Area.

Throughout the evening, attendees had the opportunity to hear powerful reflections from speakers and program participants, highlighting the importance of non-traditional pathways to education and career success. These stories served as a reminder that talent exists everywhere—and with the right support and access, it can truly thrive.

The event also created space for connection and celebration. Guests engaged in networking with partners and industry professionals, strengthening relationships that will continue to support workforce development and digital inclusion efforts across the region.
