What is an AB617 Community?

In response to Assembly Bill (AB) 617 the California Air Resource Board established the

Community Air Protection Program to reduce exposure in specific communities most

impacted by air pollution. This includes West Oakland, East Oakland and Richmond.

What is the AB617 Communities Empowerment Project?

The AB617 Communities Empowerment Project is designed to engage community

members about a new grant program that provides information and resources, Digital

Literacy training, and Affordable Broadband Plans in West Oakland, East Oakland, and

Richmond. Join us to learn how you can get involved and benefit from the broadband internet in your community!
